Currently, Utah is one of only seven remaining states without proper laws to punish animal abusers. As the law stands now, Utah will only punish egregious acts of animal cruelty as a Class A Misdemeanor. This is simply not enough!

Henry

Handsome Henry is a little Chihuahua mix that was intentionally put into a 200-degree Fahrenheit oven for five minutes. As a result of this torture, Henry now has permanent scarring his chest and face and his front paw pads are fused together. Henry has some social anxieties and his owner contacted Puppenschnoodles for help in overcoming them. Henry's offender was only sentenced to 4 and a half months of jail time and a $1000 fine as punishment for what he did for Henry!

Sweetie

Precious Sweetie is a purebred brindle boxer who was tied to the back of a pick-up truck and dragged. She lost an ear and now has a permanently disfigured face. To make matters even worse, Sweetie was then neglected before finally being dumped with a rescue group. The happy news is that Sweetie has now been adopted by a wonderful and caring family! She does have some fears that the family is currently addressing with the help of Puppenschnoodles. Unfortunately, Sweetie's offender has never been brought to justice.
